It's time to finally put the rumors to rest with speculations as to whether Google's Gphone is likely to be competing with Apple's iPhone. Apparently not! The Gphone project is expected to ship with the Linux-based mobile OS that's in the pipeline. With this, Google is expected to to extend its portfolio of offerings through online adverts on mobile Internet, a market that the company expects to grow manifold in a few years, and something that goes beyond the mobile search and map software. That's all we've heard so far. So hang on till we get some more news. |
