HTC Touches up The Touch

After the Touch, not the iPod, the Windows mobile device from HTC, the company has decided to take it up a notch by adding a slide out keypad. Guess what they’ve decided to call this marvel? The HTC Touch... wait for it... Slide. It has a 2.6 inch touch screen and with a Windows Mobile v6.0 OS it still has the TouchFLO interface as well if you happened to get used to the older version and want to upgrade. From the pictures floating around it seems like the keypad is quite similar to the Blackberry Sure-Type style. Speculation on the specs tell us that the Touch Slide will have quite similar specs like its predecessor. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD support for external memory, perhaps even a 2 megapixel camera. It’s also a speculation that the processor will be up-ed to a Qualcomm 400MHz. Of course the pictures are out but let’s wait and see on Monday what the real deal is. Stay Tuned. |
