IOL Broadband has ties up with BSNL for IPTV and started trials of its IPTV Service on the BSNL Broadband network in Bangalore.

IOL has announced a soft launch of their IPTV/VoD Services in Bangalore on January 14 2007 followed by other cities. The company has also signed a revenue share agreement for its IPTV Service with Anytime — a consortium of Hollywood Studios – comprising of Disney, FOX, Warner, Universal etc., giving it a access to thousands of Hollywood Block Busters for IPTV in the country.

This agreement will allow IOL IPTV subscribers to view the latest Hollywood movies without commercial breaks, months before Satellite TV Broadcasts.

IOL is India's first company to start commercial IPTV rollout over the country with MTNL and BSNL.
