iPhone Ringtone Creator Will Cost You

02 Sep, 2007, 4:00 pm IST | by Shayne Rana | Mobile phones

Apple has finally decided to allow iPhone users to quit using just the inbuilt ringtones and now also use any other tone they want. Apple is developing a system wherein iTunes will have a new feature that allows iPhone users to get any song bought through iTunes to be converted into an iPhone ringer. The catch – there had to be one – is that this will cost you extra.

Rumor has it that iPhone users will be able to select any particular part of a song to be converted for use as a ringtone. These ringers, it’s said will be compatible with all the new iPhones. No word on what the price per tone will be like.
