iRiver Japan has announced a new digital frame - Framee-L. The device has interchangeable frames with a 7-inch WVGA (720 x 480 pixels) LCD display. It’s equipped with all the basics – SD/MMC card ports, USB connectivity and a media player. The Framee-L also comes with 1GB of internal storage so you won’t need to use cards all the time and what makes this player stand out a little ahead of the numerous others is the fact that it can read PEG-4 AVC / H.264, AVI and Motion JPEG video formats among of course the usual audio formats - WMA, WAV and MP3 media files. It comes bundled with a full function remote control, an alarm clock and calendar feature. The DPF is expected to hit shelves sometime later this month for a price of Rs. 9, 460 ($198). Of course it could be a bit longer till it gets to us, if it ever does. |
