JuiceCaster Launches in India

06 Feb, 2008, 11:00 am IST | Shayne Rana | Mobile phones

Juice Wireless has launched JuiceCaster in India. The application allows anyone with a camera-enabled mobile phone to create and share rich media content. For instance, it automatically connects a user’s pictures and videos with web-based social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Orkut.

Juice has a strategic partnership with Mavin Infotech in Hyderabad for content monitoring and development, as well as an additional application development center in Delhi. The company is in active discussions with Indian telecom operators regarding strategic on-deck launch plans for the Indian market.

What you can do with JuiceCaster:

  • Capture pictures and videos on mobile phones and share with friends, family and groups.
  • Find new friends by checking others’ pictures and videos, right on the mobile phone. Publish pictures and videos instantly from the phone to online social networking sites.
  • Maintain a rich social networking connection, including a profile, friends list and personal status.
  • Import contacts from a variety of sites and desktop contact management systems such as MS Outlook.

JuiceCaster is easily available through these platforms and applications:

  1. JuiceCaster Mobile – a native downloadable mobile application
  2. JuiceCaster WAP – an application for any phone with a WAP 2.0 browser
  3. JuiceCaster Player – a web-based application that can be put on any blog or website that allows widgets
  4. Mobile Video by JuiceCaster – a customer application for Facebook
  5. JuiceCaster D – an executable desktop application
