Move over the RAZR and the SLVR, here comes the MOTOKRZR! At Mobile Asia 2006 , Motorola has announced the the KRZR K1, codenamed Canary, which is a little less thin than the RAZR V3i (1.6cm vs. 1.39cm), but it’s shorter (9.8cm vs. 10.3cm) and also less wide (4.2cm vs. 5.3cm). The KRZR is almost the same weight as the RAZR (102g vs. 100g). The KRZR also adds in EDGE support, a 2 megapixel camera (vs. the RAZR’s 1.23mp), 20mb internal memory (vs. the RAZR’s 10) and an upgraded battery life - 300 hours stand by or 6 hours talk. There’s no FM radio, which is something people have been longing for in an upgrade to the RAZR V3i. Although the KRZR isn’t exactly an upgrade, it still is a follow up because of its similar form factor and upgraded specs. |
