One of the things that bothered me about Motorola’s DROID handset that’s running on Android 2.0, was that it was being launched as a CDMA device which meant the chances of it hitting the Indian market would be quite slim. However, latest reports confirm the rumor about the DROID GSM version. The handset has been re-christened the MILESTONE and will be hitting Europe as Motorola’s next GSM Android-powered handset. The specs remain unchanged as per Motorola’s website. However the video demo does showcase Pinch control for zooming since the handset’s display supports multi-touch. Apparently the DROID does not support this feature. Check out the video. |
