Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom) today said it will offer BlackBerry services to its subscribers at Rs. 299 a month. RCom and Research In Motion (RIM) have introduced the 'Reliance E-Lite' plan for BlackBerry smart phone users in India, where users can have unlimited access to email and instant messaging (IM) on their phones for Rs 299 a month, RCom said in a statement. The service plan would be available on BlackBerry smartphones available from Reliance Mobile, such as BlackBerry 8703e, BlackBerry 8830, BlackBerry Curve 8300, BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Pearl 8110 and BlackBerry Pearl 8130. "Through 'Reliance E-Lite', we will extend our reach to a wider market by providing an affordable and high quality of service to consumers," Reliance Communications Head (Wireless Data Business) Vrajesh Shelat said. |
