Star India Pvt Ltd has launched  Star Player, an online television viewing service that offers full length content of Star’s best TV shows and other original content for free, only on www.Startv.in.

Star Player showcases premium content from the Star Network of channels on one single platform. You can watch the latest episode of the season’s latest and hottest shows, or entire runs of all time classics. Almost five to six hours of programming are added every day to keep the content fresh and attractive.

Gurtej Sandhu, Senior Vice President, New Media &  IT, said, “Star Player aims to provide an immersive viewing experience. It hosts all of Star TV India’s channels and more. Viewers can select the category of their choice - Soaps, Reality, Music, News, Lifestyle – and the Player will keep you browsing for more. You can filter channels by title, choose-to-see clips, full-length episodes or movies, or look at what's new or most popular on the site.”

Star Player doesn’t require any software downloads and videos played out on Star Player are supported by an intelligent search mechanism and a host of social networking options.

Users can watch Star Player’s videos on www.Startv.in or on other popular web sites through the Star Player’s widget network.
