Video games have been subjected to controversy for as long as I can remember; be it for the blatant use of drugs or intense graphic violence or the crowd favorite, nudity. In this article, we’ll take a lot at ten of the most controversial games that have given parents and politicians the world over nightmares. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas What’s it about: Carl Johnson returns to his hometown of Lost Santos to avenge the death of his mother and reunite his highly dysfunctional family. Why the controversy: Besides the fact that this was a GTA game where you could indulge in some GTA-ish activity (you know, car jacking, random killing and stuff like that), the PC version shipped with a hidden mini-sex game called the Hot Coffee mod that had CJ indulge in some one-on-one with his girlfriends all over San Andreas. In fact, this mini-game was so graphic; you could even control CJ’s rhythm, position and umm thrust. |
