Back in September, Sharp introduced the world’s largest LED LCD TV and this time around, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the brand has launched a new 80-inch HDTV; this time with 3D capabilities. This HDTV will be Sharp’s flagship model and with the launch of the new LC-80LE844U, the brand will add 3D support to the existing 80-inch AQUOS LC-80LE632U TV. The 2012 model from Sharp also features the Quattron Pixel Plus II technology, which the brand claims brings in even greater detail and smoother lines and color transitions.

Apart from the 3D capabilities, the AQUOS LC-80LE844U also features full array LED backlighting and a 240Hz refresh rate which the brand claims helps to eliminate blur during fast moving videos. The television also comes with Sharp’s SmartCentral interface. These are basically Sharp’s smart TV features for their 2012 80-inch TV. Through SmartCentral, one can access popular apps such as Facebook, YouTube and a host of other online content. This television like the last comes with built-in Wi-Fi allowing one to access the Internet without it being connected with an Ethernet cable.

This television will be launched in April and will be priced at $6,499, which is approximately Rs.3,46,471. For more information on this super large HDTV from Sharp, click here.
