Although 3D in televisions hasn’t really taken off the way everyone thought it would, Nvidia has managed to successfully capture the 3D segment in the PC industry when they launched their 3D Vision wireless glasses three years back. Yes, they were expensive at that time and we just had two monitors that supported it, but it was a sign of progress nonetheless. One of the main problems was the reduced brightness levels in games due to the active shutter glasses. All this could be a thing of the past with their newly introduced 3D Vision 2 wireless glasses kit. The redesigned glasses feature 20 percent larger lenses for a larger viewing area and less light leakage. The 3D kit should go on sale this month for a price of US $149 or $99 for just the glasses. Game on!
