AMD Will Bid Farewell to ATI Later This Year

AMD bought ATI four years ago for $5.4 billion and will bid it farewell later this year. They haven't given out the details for this release. ATI hasn't been the most successful venture for AMD and the company has even been criticized with its management of ATI. However, AMD has come out with some very good products since the acquisition.
