In the tradition of releasing their addictive platformer on every single platform out there, Rovio have now announced the availability of Angry Birds on the Mac App store. The Mac version will set you back by $10 and will ship with all the addictive levels you’ve grown to love across various platforms. In addition to that, the Mac version will ship with certain free updates (Angry Birds Seasons?) and improvements in the coming months. We will take over the world Here’s what Mikael Hed, CEO of Rovio had to say on this momentous occasion, "Angry Birds is a perfect match for the Mac App Store. The Mac version of Angry Birds sets a new standard for casual gaming on the Mac, and we couldn't be more thrilled to make it available on the first day of launch." NOTE: Angry Birds requires OpenGL 2.0, which is not supported on GMA 950 graphics adapters. The following hardware is not currently supported: MacBook1,1, MacBook2,1, Macmini1,1, Macmini2,1 and iMac MA710xx/A. Rovio is currently working on a solution. |
