Angry Birds, the insanely addictive physics based platformer is taking over the world at a rapid pace winning over the hearts of casual and hardcore gamers alike. And now developer Rovio are planning on tapping into a whole new demographic by releasing the game for the Xbox360 (via Xbox Live), the PS3 (via the PlayStation Network) and the Wii in the near future. Feel their anger I’m not sure how this game would play out using a conventional controller or even if it would use one in the first place now that both Move and Kinect are available. But what we do know is that the console versions of this game will ship with a multiplayer component on the line of older Worm games. Also word on the street is that Rovia will not be working on a sequel. Instead they’re planning on telling the story from the pigs point of view. Payback’s a bitch. Via slashgear |
