As Director, Technical Marketing in the Broadcast Business Unit at Dolby Laboratories, Roland Vlaicu is responsible for worldwide marketing and deployment of Dolby’s audio and video technology to the cable, satellite, and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Dolby, Roland helped implement Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound technology at ProSieben Television, Germany’s second-largest commercial broadcaster, where he worked as a systems engineer in the distribution networks department. We will soon be interviewing Mr. Vlaicu, and now here is your chance to ask him everything you’ve ever wanted to know about broadcasting in surround sound. So fire away! |
