Assassins Creed Identical Across Platforms

07 Oct, 2006, 12:00 pm IST | by Avinash Bali |

This whole Assassins Creed deal unfolds slowly, feeding us tiny bits of info that end up tantalizing us even further. The one question that was on everyone's mind when they learnt that Assassins Creed would be coming to the Xbox 360 as well was "Will there be in any difference across various platforms?"

In an interview with the game's producer, Jade Raymond, Gamesite IGN carried word that crowd AI will be slightly better in Xbox 360 version and it's this very statement that sent 360 fanboys into a frenzy. And now we find out that isn't true; actually it was more of a misunderstanding and here's what she actually meant, "While the 360 hardware enables Ubisoft's team to use multiple threads to enhance the crowd's AI, the end result for the game on both systems will be the same."

One question answered, 950 more to go…
