BPL Mobile is all set to roll out Mobile TV service this July. In the fast and dynamic lifestyle of the Mumbaikars, Mobile TV from BPL Mobile is all set to plug this vital need-gap in their lives. Mobile TV is an unique way of bringing a TV-like experience onto the mobile phones, with which a user can watch streaming video straight from a television channel on real time basis, with a delay of just a few seconds", said S. Subramaniam, CEO - BPL Mobile. Currently, BPL Mobile's Mobile TV service will provide 'Real Time' streaming from channels like NDTV India, NDTV 24x7, NDTV Profit, Aajtak, Headlines Today, Tez, CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNN-IBN, IBN 7. Apart from this, content from leading television channels will also be available as downloadable 'Video On Demand' clips, in the form of news, Bollywood Music, devotional music and others. BPL Mobile is partnering with China's ZTE, to make Mobile TV possible on a GSM platform. While on the content side, BPL Mobile has partnered with NDTV, CNBC and Aajtak for providing Real Time News channels on mobile and news clips. Tie-ups have been struck with more than 50 top content providers like Onyx, Indiatimes, T-Series and others to provide latest videos under various categories.
