Buffalo Launches An Ultra Slim Blu-Ray Writer

Buffalo Technologies has launched an 'ultra slim' Blu ray writer, the MediaStation 6x Portable Blu-Ray Writer. It includes the CyberLink PowerDVD software suite for Windows. It is house in a high-gloss case, is USB powered, connects with USB 2.0, allows easy video upscaling, writes Blu Ray in 6x, DVDs in 8x and CD-R in 24x. The Buffalo Blu Ray writer "It supports DVD upscaling for standard definition DVDs to be viewed and re-recorded in near HD quality. Its slim structure fits easily inside a laptop or netbook bag, making MediaStation 6x Portable Blu-Ray Writer a perfect companion for any mobile user." said Mr. Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head, Buffalo Technology. Its dimensions are 5.6 x 0.8 x 5.4, weighs 12 ounces, supports Windows 7 (32 bit/64 bit), Windows Vista (32 bit/64 bit), and Windows XP (SP2 or later). It consumes a maximum of 75W of power. It is priced at Rs. 18,000 and comes with a 2 year warranty. |
