Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC Coming Soon

| by Avinash Bali |

With a game as popular as Call of Duty: Black Ops, downloadable content (DLC) is a given and on Major Nelon’s latest podcast, Trearch’s Dan Bunting spilled the beans on what CoD fans could expect this February.

More multiplayer mayhem expected this February

And for all those who don’t know, Major Nelson AKA Larry Hryb is Microsoft’s Xbox360 social networking ninja and the reason he broke the news first is because this DLC will be exclusive to the Xbox360 initially. It’ll include four multiplayer maps, two of which - Kowloon and Discovery - come straight out of the single player campaign. The other two are Berlin Wall (which is pretty self explanatory) and Stadium, a map that takes place inside a hockey rink. Also included in this DLC is one co-operative zombie map called Ascension.

The map pack will hit Xbox Live by the 1st of February 2011 for 1200 MS Points. It will eventually come to the PS3 and PC but details on those dates were not given.

In the meantime do check out our Black Ops review, for a game that we enjoyed and one that frustrated us in equal measure.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is the only new 10.1-inch Android tablet to launch this year. And with no one to contend against, it is commanding a substantial premium in the market. This is not any run-of-the-mill tablet, though. The care and polish delivered by Sony is simply brilliant as we’ll see in a bit.
