In an unusual turn of events, a surprise guest at this year’s CES event in Las Vegas was our all time favourite Jedi thrashing, heavy breathing, Sith Lord Darth Vader. The cape clad villain of the world’s favourite Sci-Fi saga was on hand with a slew of small squads of Stormtroopers to officially announce Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Lucasfilm's Blu-ray release of the entire Star Wars saga. It’s been a long time coming and I’m so very glad the wait is over. The Blu-rays are already available for online pre-order but are slated for release only in the last quarter of the year i.e. September 2011. The Return of the Saga, in HD Quality... FINALLY!!! Fans will finally get a complete six disc set or in separate sets, IGN reported -
The Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray will be available for about Rs. 6,321 ($139.99) and the smaller sets of three discs will be going for about Rs. 3,160 ($69.99). The price will also depend on where you’re located so these aren’t the exact amounts. It’s time to start saving the bucks for this much awaited move collection. See you at the pre-order registration. |
