As part of their Midweek Madness, Steam has drastically knocked down the prices of three pretty sweet games - Just Cause 2, Killing Floor and Metro 2033. Killing Floor is a highly enjoyable first person, co-operative survival shooter in the vein of the Left 4 Dead series. It’s now available for $5.10 (Rs. 231) and this includes not only the game, but also The Twisted Event DLC, which brings with it new levels, creatures, weapons and achievements. Just Cause 2 is the over-the-top sequel to Just Cause where players abandon all the rules of gravity and realism in favor of some balls-out insane gameplay. This is probably the only game out there that allows players to skateboard on an aircraft. Indulge in these mindless shenanigans for $7.49 (Rs. 339). Pardon the horrible photoshopping And finally, we come to Metro 2033 - a first person survival horror set deep within the mutant infected Metros of Russia. Developed by relatively new Ukranian studio 4A games, the game went on to receive largely positive reviews that praised it for its nail-biting atmosphere and intense gameplay. This game will set you back by $9.99 (Rs. 452). I’m assuming this is Valve’s way of warming us up to the deluge of awesome deals that would be coming our way via their ginormous Christmas sale. |
