Crytek Responds to Crysis 2 Leak

This weekend a leaked version of Crysis 2 (PC) began circulating and spreading across the internet like wildfire. With just about a month left for the game’s official release, this is bound to hit Crytek where it hurts. I stand alone But then again, piracy is something that cannot be curtailed and here’s what Crytek had to say on the matter at the game’s official forums:__STARTQUOTE__Crytek has been alerted that an early, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and playing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development, and the team is hard at work on it and Crysis 2 promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion. Piracy continues to damage the PC development community.__ENDQUOTE__Crysis 2 will release for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 22nd of March 2011. |
