Dead Space Extraction Announced

19 Feb, 2009, 11:46 am IST | by Avinash Bali |

Even thought we’ve known of its existence for a while now, EA today reinforced the existence of Dead Space Extraction for the Nintendo Wii, an action survival horror that’ll shed some light on the events leading up to the Dead Space.

Here’s the scoop from Actiontrip:

Dead Space Extraction aims to utilize motion controls of the Wii Remote, offering a first person perspective. The game introduces a new heroine to the fiction and as the crew fall victim to a mysterious contagion aboard the ship, it becomes clear that protecting her may be their only hope for survival. They've also mentioned "new characters, weapons, enemies, puzzles and co-operative multiplayer gameplay."

Expect the game sometime in 2009.
