EA are pretty happy with the way the new Need for Speed from Criterion turned out. It’s got rave reviews from pretty much every site on the planet, including ours. Here’s a small quote from our review: __STARTQUOTE__Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has captured the essence of the Burnout series while retaining core elements of older NFS games. In doing so it’s managed to cater to fans of both the series, which is no easy task. It is hampered to a certain extent by lack of variety and a redundant open world game but there’s no denying that this game is an exhilarating experience that should not be missed.__ENDQUOTE__EA are now offering free DLC to anyone who owns the game in the form of three supercars - the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster and the Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible Final Edition. But there’s a slight clause; they want their launch trailer (embedded below) to reach a million page views. Putting the "speed" back in Need for Speed It is a unique way to offer DLC I must say, but hey, free is free. So go ahead and watch that video to death or spam your friends with it. |
