Free Radical Working on Crysis 2

28 Jan, 2010, 10:28 am IST | by Avinash Bali |

As most of you know by now Crysis 2 will be set in New York City. How that’s gonna work out we’re not sure but we sure hope we don’t have to put up with the tantrums of so called friends via annoying phone calls.

What we did learn today was that developer Free Radical will be working on the game. In case your memory is a bit rusty Free Radical is the same British developer behind the awesome Timesplitters series but were forced to shut doors after the debacle that was Haze.

The extent of their collaboration on the project is not known yet but according to Crytek boss Faruk Yerli they are working on "a part of the game".

Crysis 2 will be released for the PC, Xbox360 and PS3 later this year (hopefully).
