Microsoft was noticeably one of the big-name companies that didn't put their products up in the Mac App Store. However, it seems they've had a change of heart. Their original absence gave Apple a chance to promote their own iWork Suite but Microsoft is starting to see the benefit of having their own apps feature in the Mac App Store. Microsoft's thinking of hanging out here The company is doing pretty well with its software selling via other vendors like its own website, Apple retail stores and independent dealers. However, they have admitted to not ruling out the option of putting Microsoft Office up in the App Store for OS X. From here it's a wait and watch game. So many of us are so used to just buying Microsoft Office at the time of computer purchase itself but having Microsoft Office available in the App Store opens up the option of buying only the software we need individually without having to shell out on a package. |

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is the only new 10.1-inch Android tablet to launch this year. And with no one to contend against, it is commanding a substantial premium in the market. This is not any run-of-the-mill tablet, though. The care and polish delivered by Sony is simply brilliant as we’ll see in a bit.
