Microsoft has finally released a free download that will allow anyone who is using Office 2007 betas to save documents in PDF format and the new Microsoft Document system XPS. This add-on works with the current betas of Office 2007 and will be compatible with the various versions of Office that will ship next year. Previously integrated into Office 2007 the 'Save as PDF' feature is being offered as a download because Adobe threatened Microsoft with an Anti-Trust case in October over the integration of that feature in Office 2007. Download it here. |
