To commemorate the release of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, EA has gone ahead and showered some more NFS love upon us by announcing Shift 2 Unleashed. Like its predecessor the game will concentrate more on a realistic driving experience allowing players to experience "the most physical driving experience to date". And that date, by the way, will be sometime in 2011. 2 Fast 2 uhh shifty? The game is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC and will improve on all the aspects that made Shift successful. Also expect the more recent AutoLog system (introduced in Hot Pursuit) to be present in Unleashed as well. This will allow you to not only compete with friends but you'll also be able to constantly share everything from stats to videos and pictures with them. Of course you have to be online to do so. |
