Just about a month after their last firmware release, Sony has posted a yet another firmware upgrade for their handheld console - the PlayStation Portable (PSP). This time, however it's only a point release updating your system's firmware to version 2.71.
The new features included in this firmware are minor but still interesting enough to warrant an upgrade for avid users. The new features include the ability to download game demos straight from the official PSP website using the PSP's web browser. Also video can now be displayed correctly when an external tuner is selected in the LocationFree Player.
The only game demo available for download via PSP as of now is LocoRoco, but you can expect many more in the near future.
