In a newsletter from EB games, Harmonix Music System’s Rock Band’s Guitar Controller was finally revealed. The controller is inspired by (and looks a lot like) the real life guitar known as the Fender Stratocaster (a.k.a. Strat), which was used by quite a few guitar gods like Eric Clapton, David Gilmour and Jimi Hendrix. Unlike Red Octane’s Guitar Hero controller, this baby has 5 extra keys at it’s neck, along with reverb, flange, wah and delay controls. Whether they’re just cosmetic or have any implementation in the gameplay is still not revealed. I dunno about you guys, but I’m really looking forward to ripping some newbie riffs on this baby!
