Rock Band Rocks its Way to the iPod Touch and iPhone

20 Oct, 2009, 11:27 am IST | by Shayne Rana |

Rock Band is by far one of THE most innovative games ever created. That fact coupled with the iPhone and iPod Touch’s gaming capability makes for a seriously good partnership although you’d have to do without the instruments themselves. The game has finally made its way to the multitouch display of Apple’s devices and it’s gearing up to Rock your world.

The features include the ability to connect with other Rock Band mobile gamers via Bluetooth for jam sessions. It also allows you to sync with your Facebook profile, check your band’s status and also get updates from buddies who want to join in your jam session. If you think the 20 tracks included are just not enough or don’t meet your taste you can purchase tracks via the built-in Music Store feature. Other features also include three difficulty levels, quick-play and Tour Mode. Sadly though you won't be able to exercise your vocal cords as it doesn't support a sing-along option.

The Rock Band game app will be available on the App Store for a price of Rs. 460 ($9.99).
