TGS 2008: Tekken 6 Headed to Xbox360

09 Oct, 2008, 2:07 pm IST | by Avinash Bali |

Xbox360 owners who love the Tekken series no longer have to pick up a PS3 just to play the game since Tekken 6 is heading to the Xbox360 some time in 2009.

Speaking to Gamespot.com about porting Tekken 6 to the Xbox360, here's what the game's director Katsuhiro Harada had to say, "When we tried to move it to the 360, it would be a lie to say I wasn't concerned. It is quite difficult. For example, on the PS3 you have the Blu-ray disc as well as the hard disk, which lends itself to a lot of options for the game. We don't necessarily have this for the 360, where it has a DVD and it may not have a hard disk by default. So there are various things that we have to overcome when porting this to the 360, but I'm sure we can do it."

Expect more information to come in the days to come. Meanwhile check out the Xbox360 announcement trailer in our videos section or by simply clicking on the image below.
