Transcend Announces 8 GB Flash Drive

Transcend Information, a company in flash memory products has announced its new JetFlash V10 USB 2.0 Flash Drive with a memory capacity of 8 GB. The V10's capless design uses a sliding USB, which protects the connector from damage when not in use and measures 64 x 21 x 10 mm, weighing in at 11gms. The 8GB JetFlash V10 comes bundled with the software applications of the JetFlash elite software package, which focuses on the needs of the user and is specifically developed to help users manage data and increase productivity. The JetFlash elite includes seven functions — AutoLogin, PC-Lock, Favorites, Secret-Zip, E-mail, DataBackup, and My JetFlash. The JetFlash V10 supports Windows 98SE/2000/Me/XP/Vista, Mac OS 9.0 or later, and Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later. |
