Verbatim Introduces 16 GB Flash Drive

Verbatimï Corporation has announced the latest additions to its Store 'n' Go line of USB Drives. The new 16 GB USB drive is instantly recognized when plugged into the USB port of a desktop or notebook PC. With this mobility, users can easily carry their data with them and connect the drive to any computer through the USB port when they arrive at their destination. Verbatim Store 'n' Go Drives can be used with Windows 98SE, 2000, XP, MAC OS 8.6 and higher; Linux 2.4.0 and Microsoft Vista. A Microsoft Vista-compatible version of the security application will be available later this month. Verbatim's Store 'n' Go Pro drives provide the fastest way to store, share and transport large files or large numbers of files. With a maximum write speed of 14MB/sec speed (over 90X in terms of CD speed rating), and a maximum read speed of 24MB/sec (over 160X), the Store 'n' Go Pro Drive provides great performance and security featuring 256-bit AES hardware data encryption. The complete range of Verbatim's Store 'n' Go USB drives including 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB are available through leading retailers, Internet resellers and distributors. The street price of the latest 16 GB Store 'n' Go USB Drive is Rs. 3000. |
