It happens to the best of us. Just about everyone using a Windows PC has had a bad experience with some sort of malware, be it a virus, a spyware that sneaked in with one of your favorite apps or even a case of worm sending spam to everyone in your email address book. There was a time when viruses had some visible effects on your PC, such as data corruption, screen artefacts and other obvious indications that something's not right with your machine. Now things are a lot sneakier with spyware leaking out your personal details without any indication, which can lead to anything between hacked email accounts to identity theft. If you've had any such experience that took you a while to clear out or fix, share it with us in the comments below. The best stories will win a 3 PC Licensed copy of Norton 360 v4.0 Security Suite. Hurry, we have only 4 copies to give away! Note: Please ensure you're posting your real email address in the comments below for us to contact you for your winning story. Prizes sponsored by Symantec.
