Windows Vista successor codenamed 'Fiji'

| by Aalaap Ghag |

Not too long ago, “Whistler”, which later became Windows XP was the buzzword. Then came “Longhorn”, one of the most popular keywords on the web, which then became Vista. So what's next? While Longhorn was still Longhorn, the next version of Windows was going to be called BlackComb, but that has now been renamed “Vienna” and the version Windows to follow immediately after Vista (and before Vienna) has now been called Fiji. *applause!* But don't place your bets on this. Blackcomb has gone under so many alterations (it was also entirely scrapped at one point in time), that its just no guarantee that Vienna will actually make it to Windows 2010. I think we'll just look forward to Windows Vista for the time being. Now there obviously isn't any screenshots, so we'll just leave you with this nice wallpaper over at vistaultimate.com:windows-vista-wallpaper_t.jpg

 7.0

We’ve already established that the Lumia 720 is Nokia’s best effort as far as Windows Phone 8 handsets go. This could soon change once the Lumia 925 hits markets, but as it stands now, the Lumia 720 offers the best blend of features and performance, wrapped in a beautiful package that’s quite affordable.
