Enterprise and business sector workplaces don’t have to be a dull and boring place, at least that’s what HP believes. They’ve recently launched a new series of all-in-one desktops under the Compaq 8200 Elite line-up, which they say are targeted at enterprise, mid-market and public sector customers. The new desktops begin at a price tag of Rs. 38,000 and are fully configurable to meet your business needs.

What differentiates it from regular desktops is that the Intel Sandy Bridge processors will feature vPro technology, built into the hardware allowing remote access to your PC for monitoring and maintenance, as well as security. The 23-inch widescreen gives you plenty of room to play around with and it also comes with a one-year HP Virtual Room license allowing businesses to conduct presentations, trainings, team meetings without having to fly down employees to a particular location. Security of sensitive data is taken care of by an embedded TPM 1.2 compliant security chip for hardware-based encryption. The desktop will also have up to 8GB of RAM, optional SSD and a keyboard and mouse.

The new desktops will start shipping from today and should be available through HP’s online store.
