BookMyShow Gets an Android App

Indian website BookMyShow, which caters to folk wanting to book tickets to movie screenings, plays, concerts and sporting events, has now launched an official Android app.

The App provides movie and cinema listings, details and synopses and showtimes. It helps user select the movie they want to watch, check out ticket and seat availability at the cinema hall of their choice and lets them book tickets on-the-go using their Android device. In case you’re worried about security, the BookMyShow app supports multiple secure payment options.

As of now, the app only features movie ticket bookings, but will apparently be upgraded soon to provide theatre, concert and sporting event services too.
