Eric Schmidt reveals tentative release date of Ice Cream Sandwich

Google had announced the next version of their Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich at the Google I/O Conference in May 2011. The expected release of their latest OS was expected to hit by the last quarter of this year. Google’s Eric Shcmidt revealed in an interview with SalesForce.com CEO, Marc Benioff that the next big upgrade to the Android operating system is set to be released in the October/ November time frame.
