Gmail for Android Updated to 2.3.5

Any avid user of Gmail on Android will tell you how much they love this app, but also how much they hate it for draining their battery. Allowing Gmail to fetch new mail every hour can take a toll on your battery life and for some this is a necessity. Google's heard you out and have launched a new version of the app, 2.3.5, which adds a bunch of new features and overall performance improvements. The Marketplace already has the new version so simply go ahead and update it from your phone.

Gmail just got better

The first major update is the ability to sync only priority mail. This means only your important mails will be pulled and not the other irrelevant Facebook notifications and other spam. This is useful for those on a limited data plan. Another big update is the ability to set individual notifications and ringtones to specific labels. Other features include:
