AVG Anti virus, is a familiar name amongst techies and 'early adopters' of technology, thanks to their easy to use free version. Now this Anitvirus has officially entered India, with none other than Milestone Interactive Group, the same people who've brought you PlayStation products for years. It's a business tie-up with AVG Technologies, who claim over 80 million users in 167 countries. Mr. Jayant Sharma, Chairman and CEO – Milestone Interactive Group, says "We have been in the interactive software business for over a decade and are market leaders in this field. Given the rapidly growing installed base of computers & Internet users in India, the time seemed just right for us to expand into the ICT security space. The fact that AVG has put their faith in us even as we step into this business speaks volumes of our market credibility." |
