Finding a cab that will ferry you to your destination in a crowded suburb like ours can be a daunting task, and with each passing day this problem just seems to worsen. Now, an official press release from Carzonrent, a popular brand for personal transportation services in the country confirms that they have launched an EasyCabs mobile application suite for BlackBerry, Android, Symbian, iOS-powered smartphones, accessing which users will be able to book cabs from their phones, itself. Now, on your mobile
The application is available for customers across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The app, according to the official statement will allow users to create and manage their profiles, reserve cabs, tag locations they travel frequently to, modify and cancel their reservations, among others. Apart from the above mentioned OS, the application can also be accessed on low-end mobile phones using the mobile website that has been designed specifically to negate the need of JavaScript on the browser or high speed connections. The statement also assures that the pages are not greater than 6KB in size, thereby, facilitating quick download even in low-bandwidth conditions.
The makers of the app already have a slew of enhancements up their sleeve, which they plan to integrate soon, which include - tracking the designated cab once the booking is confirmed, checking live traffic information on the chosen route, using GPS for address, etc. |
