IDLDPL, distributors of lifestyle products in India, have announced the launch of 'Parrot range of Bluetooth Devices' in India. Parrot is a French company that offers Bluetooth technology in various car kits, plug-n-play kits and home products. The company has introduced the Parrot Minikit- a Bluetooth enabled hands-free that features voice recognition and audio quality for voice-activated phoning in the car, at home or in the office. The device attaches itself to any part of the dashboard, to facilitate voice calls by the driver. The device has built-in two-watt high-fidelity speaker and a built-in omni-directional microphone supported by the latest DSP-2 signal processing technology. According to representatives, Parrot Minikit is the only speakerphone in its category with advanced voice recognition technology. It allows users to set up their phone books with voice tags for the convenience and added control of true hands-free voice dialing, especially important when driving. The device has upgradeable software to ensure compatibility with future mobile phones and can pair with up to five devices, each having 150 voice tags, and recognize multiple languages. Once paired, it will connect automatically with the users mobile and will work with virtually all Bluetooth-enabled mobile handsets on the market. Parrot MINIKIT also features last-number redial. For privacy, users can switch a call from the Speakerphone to a mobile phone by simply pressing the green call button or the reverse to transfer a call back to speakerphone. The battery-powered Parrot Minikit is totally self-contained with no external wires or accessories. It weighs 3.5 ounces and measures 4.3 x 2.5 x 1.2 inches in size, as it is designed to fit in a pocket or a bag.
