Bluetooth 2.2 Out, New Version Could be 3.0

It was just last week that word was out on the next Bluetooth upgrade to hit the market in 2009 – Bluetooth 2.2. However, according to the latest reports form the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, that’s not accurate anymore. The next version will probably be 3.0. Support features will still remain the same though with provision for obviously faster connectivity to other Bluetooth enabled devices and of course, an increase in speed of transfers. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement though so stay tuned. |
