There's fresh news from the front where Blu-ray and HD-DVD are duking it out — for the first time since the beginning of the battle, Blu-ray is showing a lead by showing more sales than HD-DVD. Exact figures are unavailable, but 100 Blu-ray discs are being sold for every 98.71 HD-DVD discs, according to preliminary statistics from Nielsen VideoScan data.
