We all know that thin is in, and that is something that will probably not change for a long time to come. But Samsung seems to be pushing the envelope where this popular adage is concerned, as they are all set to show off their latest creation, the world’s thinnest Blu-ray player. OLED Display says that Samsung plans to unveil this super-slim, slick Blu-ray player at CES 2011, which will take place in just over a week in Las Vegas. Now, isn’t that a great way to kick-start the new year? Who would you take home, the girl or the gadget? This new Blu-ray player from Samsung measures in at a depth of just 23mm, and is far from being just a showpiece, as it features a metallic chassis, 2D to 3D conversion, wall mount support, internet connectivity and a lot more. And as you can clearly see, it looks really nice as well. So, will this be the object of everyone’s attention and desire next year? I’m sure it will be at least for a while. But then again, someone else will probably come along and raise the bar sooner or later. For all you know, that someone else may just be Samsung, as they’ve constantly been trying to make their products better, slimmer and more gorgeous. |
