Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division (India) has announced the availability of 35 game titles, for Xbox 360. The titles, including its popular M rated, Gears of War (GoW) and E rated, Viva Pinata are priced at Rs. 2510 each and will be available to Indian gamers through Microsoft's retailers across the country. Gamers in Mumbai will be able to access the titles at over 180 stores, including Croma, Lifestyle, Souvenirs and Planet M, among others. Mohit Anand, country manager, Microsoft Entertainment and devices division said, "We are delighted to bring our Indian gaming enthusiasts, the two biggest and most anticipated games: Gears of War and an unusual game about habitat, Viva Pinata , for Xbox 360. GoW is one of the best games, visually available on Xbox 360 and one of the finest games available on any platform today. Viva Pinata, on the other hand, is more of a family game, where gamers have to turn a misused plot of land, into a beautiful garden, overcoming various challenges. Xbox 360 today has over 35 titles available and will additionally be releasing more innovative and enthralling games for the gaming enthusiasts in times to come." The forthcoming game titles announced are : Dead Or Alive Xtreme 2, Lost Planet, Superman Returns, and Call of Duty 3. Mohit Anand also revealed that the Microsoft (India) team is currently working on game titles for Xbox 360, with 'culturally relevant' content. The first 'Made for Indians' game title, 'Yuvraj Singh Cricket 2007' was also unveiled here, in Mumbai, as a predecessor for forthcoming game titles, with India-centric content. Microsoft has tied up with Indian game developers and graphics companies, such as Dhruva Developers (Bangalore) for creating content, and will announce the 'culturally relevant' games for Xbox 360, in the near future.
