Xbox 360 Offers TV Shows, Movies in Dec.

Xbox 360 gamers in US, will have access to over 1,000 hours of popular TV shows and movies through the Xbox Live network, next month. Microsoft has announced its agreement with CBS, MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures, Turner Broadcasting System Inc., Ultimate Fighting Championship and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment to offer TV shows and movies in high-definition via digital distribution over the Internet. While CBS networks will offer TV shows such as 'CSI,' 'Jericho,' 'Numb3rs' and remastered 'Star Trek' episodes for online purchase, Nascar.Com will deliver condensed versions of select Nascar Nextel Cup Series races from 'Race Rewind'. Ultimate Fighting Championship will make 50 fights available for download along with select episodes from the original season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' reality series. Other content available for download includes Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen Hunger Force from Adult Swim, 'South Park' and 'Chappelle’s Show' from COMEDY CENTRAL, 'The Real World' and 'Pimp My Ride' from MTV along with 'The Matrix', 'Superman Returns' and 'Batman Forever' from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment among others. Microsoft says it will add to the initial lineup of TV shows available for download to own and feature films available for download to rent in the following months.
